Gee Pearl, I loved the story about the speedway.
Last week I went to the Drag Racing at Meremere, which is just south of Auckland.
It is called 1/4 mile racing but it is not a 1/4 of a mile any more. It is now 400m which is pretty close to a 1/4 mile.
I like the big engined drag car... when they roar past you as they go down the 'strip' you can feel the noise in your chest... It is so loud.
I am glad you all enjoyed yourselves.
